Danish youth international Nikola Saric has collected another major injury with Liverpool.
Reds reserves coach John McMahon had some disappointing news to report with promising midfielder Saric ruled out for the next few months after he was stretchered off in the opening game against Wigan.
"Unfortunately he has been diagnosed as having a broken bone on his lower leg so that will keep him out for the next two months," McMahon told liverpoolfc.tv.
"Our best wishes go to Nikola for a speedy recovery and he has a good character.
"He has had a bad time with injuries including several knee operations. He was looking fit and strong in pre-season and this is just unfortunate for the lad."
