Nike are ready to pour their resources into Barcelona midfield star Andres Iniesta. Sport says the American sportswear giant sees Iniesta as the game's next big icon and is ready wind back their focus on AC Milan's Ronaldinho and make a big push for the Barca midfielder.

Iniesta only just extended his agreement with Nike last season, but is set to be offered a major new deal which would put him in a direct battle with teammate and adidas star Lionel Messi.
