Nike want to lift the profile of Barcelona fullback Daniel Alves.
Sport says Nike are attempting to design a symbol for the Brazilian in the guise of Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo's 'C7' and AC Milan ace Ronaldinho's 'R10'.
Nike aren't convinced by Alves' current No20 at Barca and will wait for next season to see if he can grow into a new number.
