tribalfootball.com's Nigerian fans have backed Chibuzor Okonkwo to impress Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish in trials.

The Nigeria international fullback is set for tests at Villa Park and if he impresses will get a move from local club Heartland.

Asked for more information on the Super Eagle, Nigerian fans on Facebook insisted Okonkwo would do himself justice at Villa.

Among the responses was Uchenna Amaeruchi Decency, who declared: "chibuzor okonkwo is a nigerian international who plays RB position 4 bayelsa united in the nigeria premier league the young lad has represented nigeria in junior level and offcourse the national team. He's an experience and talented player that can adapt to the EPL in no distant time. So aston villa do the deal."

Franklyn Goldenprince Slim-Shady Thaddeus also said: "A member of the dream team that reached the finals at the beijing olympic. He is a right footed full-back and can play at either side of the pitch. He can hold his own in the EPL 'cos he's very physical."

Mark Chisom declared: "chibuzor okonkwo is a talented right fulbak with heartland fc owerri.,he has won many caps 4 nigeria at d senior level, he won silver wit samson siasia at holland 2005 world youth champonshp, and also a silver at d 2008 beijing Olympic wit coach siasia. He s talented,strong,has stamina,can also play at center back...he has strenght,skill and gud pace. He is currently d best right full back for Nigeria. I personally know him and also have watchd him many times 4 heartland in owerri. He wil b a gud talent 4 aston villa...GUDLUCK 2 HIM."

And Thyvine Sunday insisted: "We heartland fans we miss him alot cos he is a great right back, alan should expect a great fight.wishing him a successful trial.we love him."
