Nigeria are considering former England and Chelsea boss Glenn Hoddle for their World Cup coaching position.
Hoddle is on the West African nation's short list of candidates to lead them to this summer's finals in South Africa along with Sven Goran Eriksson, another former England boss, says the Sunday Mirror.
Tottenham legend Hoddle had an eventful three-year reign in charge of England between 1996 and 1999.
He took the country to the finals in France in 1998, when they went out in the dramatic penalty shoot-out against Argentina in a match made famous by David Beckham's red card and Michael Owen's sensational solo goal.
England lost only five of the 28 matches played under his command.
