Ahead of Nigeria's U20 World Cup clash with Scotland, he said: "Before we left Nigeria I set myself the goal to be the highest goalscorer in the tournament.
"This is my first time coming to a championship like this, and this is a starting point for me.
"I would obviously like to move to a club in Europe to further my footballing career.
"My dream place is Chelsea, which is not really because Mikel is there. Before he even went there, I was a big supporter of them."
Nigeria manager Ladan Bosso believes the Ocean Boys frontman deserves the chance to join a top European club.
Bosso told FIFA's website: "He's never gone out for a trial even, but I think he has a big future in the game.
"The way he's playing now, any agent or club that sees him should be impressed and jump on him."
Nigeria reached the final in 2005 and were beaten 2-1 by Argentina, with Lionel Messi converting two penalties.
