Newcastle United winger Sammy Ameobi is wanted by Nigeria.
The Evening Chronicle says the Super Eagles are looking to integrate the next batch of young players into their ranks and Ameobi - who has represented Nigeria Under-20s - is under consideration.
The 22-year-old, who faces a make or break season at United next term, has played for England Under-21s under former boss Stuart Pearce, but has slipped off the radar for the Three Lions after struggling to break into Alan Pardew's team.
