Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has revealed Chelsea midfielder Mikel John Obi is set to join Marseille.

Off contract in June, Mikel is to sign OM on a free transfer, says Rohr.

"I met Obi Mikel in London. He is in the advanced stage of discussions with Olympique Marseille," revealed Rohr.

"He will leave Chelsea for free.

"This is a serious option."
