Nicol keeping Revs grounded

New England head coach Steve Nicol is not allowing his team to get ahead of themselves after last week's 1-1 draw with Chicago. "I wouldn't say we've turned a corner anywhere, whether it's backwards or forwards." Nicol said. "Stuff happens during the season. Teams have good games, bad games and mediocre games. It's part and parcel of what happens in pro sports.

"We still have people we want to get back. We still want to continue to solve it and try to do better with what we've got."

New England goalkeeper Matt Reis suffered a concussion in training on Wednesday. Nicol said Reis wouldn't play against Colorado.

Nicol known in the game for his humour didn't miss the opportunity to have a dig at his number one keeper, Nicol continued: "[Goalkeepers have] got nothing in between their head anyways, but we still can't take the chance,"
