Nicol happy with improvement but concedes New England have long way to go

New England Head Coach Steve Nicol explains locker room dynamics after 1-1 draw with Chicago. Speaking after the game Nicol said, "Before the game everyone was really quiet. You know two things are going to happen. One, they are going to stand up and be counted or they're going to disappoint. And what we wanted, they stood up and were counted, and that's exactly what they did.

"It's amazing the way we are, we lose two games and a lot of people are panicking. We said we just have to make better decisions and make better passes, keep the ball. We were that much better tonight. We shouldn't be kidding ourselves, we still have a ways to go to be where we want to be, but it just shows you when you get a few of those back, things change. By the end of the game, we had grown, we were confident."
