New England Revolution coach Steve Nicol insists he's not chasing a move back to Europe. "What goes on at home these days is ridiculous," he told the Liverpool Echo. "I remember 20 years ago we used to laugh at the Italians and the way they hired and fired managers but now it's happening in Britain.
"Things are different here. Of course if we had a couple of seasons where we didn't do well I would be out the door but the pressure is mostly generated by myself. I'm desperate to do well and win trophies.
"This is a great job and my family love it out here. I've got another couple of years on my contract and I've got no plans to go anywhere else.
"The fact that I'm the longest serving coach in the MLS proves I must have done something right. I just try to do my best every day I come to work and whatever is around the corner will be."
