Nice have made a move for New York City FC coach Patrick Vieira.

Lucien Favre is set to leave Nice this summer for Borussia Dortmund and they have identified Vieira as a replacement.

Contact has already been made, reports Nice-Matin, as Nice push to bring the Frenchman back to Europe.

Vieira has already fielded an approach from Arsenal this week, though is understood to have been left unimpressed by the manner of the talks.

Any move to ASSE will have to be run by Manchester City, which have Vieira under contract with MLS sister club NYCFC.
