Mario Balotelli can have no excuses if he flops at Nice.

So says former Nice scout and new Tribalfootball.com columnist Jonathan Beilin.

Balotelli left Liverpool on deadline day last week for a celebrated move to Nice, where he has been welcomed by thousands of local fans over the past few days.

Beilin isn't surprised and says the example of former Premier League flop Hatem Ben Arfa, who rebuilt his career at Nice before landing a big money move to PSG last summer, is proof enough Balotelli finds himself in the ideal environment.

In his first column with Tribalfootball.com, Beilin argued: "Nice is the perfect club for 'those' players. 'Those' players who have lost their way in their career.

"If Hatem Ben Arfa could succeed last year, I think any player can succeed. Even Balotelli."
