Nice are moving for Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts.

Nice Matin says Nice are closing on City youngster Roberts, on a season-long loan.

Roberts, who has spent 18 months with Celtic, is set to join Lucien Favre's side today, as they try to put through his deal ahead of tonight's Champions League playoff deadline, according to Nice Matin.

The 20-year-old former Fulham winger would join Mario Balotelli and Wesley Sneijder in the south of France - the Dutchman having joined on Sunday.

Nice meet Napoli in the Champions League playoffs, the winner heading into the group stage.
