Nice chief Julien Fournier admits he was wrong over the way he treated Arsenal fullback Mathieu Debuchy during the summer.
Debuchy hit out at Nice for failing to return calls after holding talks with the Ligue 1 club.
Fournier conceded last night: "I had made no promises to him, but where he is right - and I have no difficulty in recognizing when I am wrong - I should have called him and I did not not do so.
"Even if we finally chose Christophe (Jallet), it would have been the least of the corrections, especially since the contact had been very good."
