Oumar Niasse believes he could make his first appearance for Everton this weekend.
The Senegalese striker joined the Toffees in a £13.5million move from Lokomotiv Moscow on deadline day but is yet to feature for his new club.
With the Russian league taking a winter break over the Christmas and New Year period, Niasse has not played a competitive match since mid-December and is still working on his conditioning before he gets a chance under Roberto Martinez.
The 25-year-old suggests that may come in the FA Cup fifth round against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
"I think this week I am going to be involved, I don't know how exactly but I think I will be there," he told Sky Sports News HQ.
"I just need to get a start to know exactly where I am. I need to be on the pitch just to see what level I am at."
