David Ngog is happy to join fellow Frenchman Gael Kakuta at Bolton Wanderers.

Ngog has warm praise for Kakuta, who joined the club on the same day on loan from Chelsea.

"I don't know Gael personally but I have been following what he has done, both in England and with the France youth teams.

"He looks like a very good player and he has lots of potential. It will be helpful too to have a French friend in the squad," he told the official website.
