Bolton Wanderers striker David Ngog admits a losing debut to Norwich City was bittersweet.
The pacy 22-year-old came off the bench to make a game of it in the second half, winning the penalty converted by Martin Petrov just after the hour.
But he took little pleasure from seeing his team-mate ordered off the field for what he felt was a soft offence.
"I haven't seen it (sending-off) again," he said after the final whistle. "I don't know what you think, but he didn't touch him.
"It's then 10 v 11 and 2-0 down it's more difficult but that's football.
"We have to be ready for this kind of situation. I would prefer to come into the side when we win but I have to take my chance when I can."
