Neymar has signed a new deal with Barcelona to 2021.
The Brazilian had already reached an agreement in the summer but there hadn't been time until now to make the renewal official.
Club officials Jordi Mestre, Robert Fernandez and Albert Soler were present at a small, private event which saw the player and Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu sign on the dotted line.
With this renewal, Neymar's buyout clause will rise extensively in the coming years.
It has already gone up from 190 million euros to 200m, next season it will be 222m and the one after any club will need to find 250m euros to purchase the player.
Neymar spoke about how happy he is to renew.
"I feel happy to sign the new contract. I'm at home at Barça," he commented. He also spoke about his first sensations at the club.
"Before I came to Barça I already knew they were a massive club. The players here are incredible and, from the outside, that intimidated me a bit before coming here. But as soon as I entered the dressing room it was clear how down-to-earth the players, now friends, were. I was really struck by that and it helped me to settle in."
