Neymar met with Madrid medical chiefs over the weekend, reported Estadao, and passed a medical. Only a signature is needed for the Brazil winger to be confirmed as a Real player.
Both Real and Barcelona had two high-ranking reps in Brazil last week for negotiations with Santos.
Real have now agreed to pay well over Neymar's €45 million buyout clause. They have agreed to match Barca's €60 million bid to swing the deal in their favour.
