Neymar is emerging as key in Barcelona's pursuit of Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.

Sport says Coutinho is emerging as a priority target for Barca this summer - with Neymar a major influence in negotiations.

Neymar, while away with Coutinho for Brazil, has been talking up life in Barcelona and the day-to-day atmosphere in La Masia.

Coutinho has been assured of the friendliness and humility of Lionel Messi, while he would arrive already knowing Luis Suarez and Neymar.

He knows, unlike Liverpool, Barca will always be contenders for the biggest titles and, significantly, Neymar has also spoken with his good friend of Barca's ten-year plan.

Both 24 and with Andres Iniesta set to soon follow Xavi into retirement, Coutinho has been informed that Barca see both he and Neymar as the future of the club for the next decade.
