Santos star Neymar admits he came close to signing for Real Madrid. Neymar trialled at Real as a 13 year-old.

"During the first two days I wanted to stay, I was happy to be there. But then I started to feel nostalgia for Brazil, family, friends, school ... So I asked my dad to take me back," he explained.

Barcelona are now favourites for Neymar, though he adds: "Stay at Santos? Who knows? I do not think about it. My home is here and I feel very comfortable."
