West Bromwich Albion will use tonight's Carling Cup tie with Leicester City to bring back three senior players.
Striker Ishmael Miller and defenders Marek Cech and Joe Mattock are set to face Sven-Goran Eriksson's side.
Miller's only action this season was as a substitute in the 6-0 defeat against Chelsea on the opening day of the campaign and he then damaged a thigh tendon in training.
Cech suffered a broken foot in the success over Leyton Orient two months ago.
Mattock - a former Leicester player - has yet to figure for the first team this term after suffering an ankle injury in training.
Baggies assistant coach Eddie Newton said: "It's important for Ishmael that we look after him and build him up slowly because he's had such rotten luck with injuries.
"He understands that. We've had plenty of chats with him and he knows what he has to do.
"The medical team say he's been working extremely hard to get back in.
"He's now training, is positive and, like any footballer, just wants to play games.
"Marek has also been training and is looking very good. He's a naturally fit boy so even though he's had a long period out, he's looking very sharp."
