Newcastle United striker Alan Smith is angry with the booking he received against Everton on Sunday.

The 26-year-old said: "It's disappointing because you get bruised and battered and have stitches in your head.

"You get kicked all over and make one foul and get a yellow card.

"It will be frustrating (missing the Spurs game), but there's nothing I can do."
