Newcastle United winger Jonas Gutierrez has suffered a shoulder injury while on international duty with Argentina.
Gutierrez collided with Peru's Paolo De La Haza while representing Argentina in their 1-1 South American World Cup qualifying draw in Lima.
AFA press officer Andres Ventura said: "Jonas suffered a strong trauma to his right shoulder and he will need more medical examinations."
