League OnePort Vale have extended Newcastle United defender Remie Streete's loan deal until 4 January. The 20-year-old has played twice since arriving on an initial one-month loan deal on 9 October.

Manager Rob Page told the club website: "I think Remie has shown what he is all about in the two games he has had.

"It's pleasing to tie him down until January. He is a great lad to have around and gets on with his training."
