Newcastle United youngster Gael Bigirimana is excited playing for manager Alan Pardew.

Bigirimana is oozing with respect for the man who gave him his chance.

The Toon young gun told the Evening Chronicle: "He gives you loads of encouragement.

"He keeps you on your game to make sure you have the high standards. I'm playing at the highest level that you should play.

"To see these guys around and to play with them is like an education. You must learn every day.

"It gives you the chance of adding to your knowledge."
