The England U20 team have beaten Romania 6-0 in an international friendly at New Bucks Head Stadium on Friday night.
Aidy Boothroyd's Young Lions, under the captaincy of Chelsea's Lewis Baker, hammered the Romanians in Telford to kickstart their season in fine fashion.
Newcastle United young gun Rolando Aarons, who opened his Premier League scoring account on the weekend, scored first for England early in the second half after a patient opening 45 minutes before the floodgates well and truly opened.
Norwich City's Josh Murphy, skipper Baker, Derby County's Kwame Thomas and a double from Aston Villa's Callum Robinson saw the English side pile on five goals in 18 minutes to give Boothroyd a perfect start to life as manager of the U20s.
