Newcastle United are to field an offer for Hatem Ben Arfa.
The midfielder is up for sale after clashing with manager Alan Pardew last season.
The Daily Star says Newcastle, however, have so far received no offers for Ben Arfa, who went on strike at Marseilles in a bid to force through his move to England.
