The Daily Express says Celtic face being gazumped by Hull City in their bid to land Newcastle keeper Forster.
Tigers boss Nigel Pearson has targeted the 23-year-old shotstopper for next season after he impressed while on loan to Celtic from the Toon.
And that option will find favour with Newcastle boss Alan Pardew, who has slaughtered the standard of the SPL.
