Newcastle United refuse to drop their pursuit of Montpellier midfielder Remy Cabella.
The Daily Star Sunday says it's understood the Magpies were unable to meet Montpellier's asking price of £15m for the Yohan Cabaye replacement in January, but the club are now resolved to strengthening at the end of the season.
Newcastle will be keen to move early for Cabella, as there biggest threat will come from other clubs willing to pay big money for the French international for the coming campaign.
