Newcastle United have reduced their wage bill by over £100,000-a-week since the end of the season.
New Fenerbahce signing Emre leaves after an injury-disrupted three-year spell at Newcastle, which, after releasing Stephen Carr, Peter Ramage and James Troisi, have reduced their wage bill by £100,000 a week.
