Newcastle United midfielder Jonas Gutierrez is convinced of an even bigger season next term.

Jonas feels more than ready for the tests ahead.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "I played at Real Mallorca and we played against Barcelona, Real Madrid and Valencia.

"Here I am used to playing Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea. I don't think it will take much to adjust.

"When you look at the teams in the Europa League they try to play good football.

"They will open the pitch and try to keep the ball. And we'll have to be ready for that.

"We have had time to think about it over the summer."
