Newcastle United are ready to hand defender Steven Taylor a new contract.
The Sunday Sun says Taylor will be offered a new deal worth no more than his current £35,000 a week.
Chelsea, Fulham and Everton are among Premiership rivals keeping tabs on Taylor's situation.
