Newcastle United striker Alex Gilliead has won a call-up to the England U17 squad.
The 15-year-old forward, from Consett, joins his club colleague Freddie Woodman in the squad.
Gilliead is the second striker in the Toon youth system to be recognised by England coaching staff after the emergence of 17 year-old Adam Campbell.
