Newcastle United have made sure they will not go empty-handed if Moussa Sissoko opts to leave the club.

Italian publication Calciomercato is reporting that the Magpies have stuck a £13million price tag on the French midfielder who has emerged on the radar of Serie A outfit AC Milan.

It is believed that the Rossoneri will make a play for 26-year-old Sissoko in January but evidently will have to pay up if they want to lure him away from St James' Park.

Sissoko, who recently indicated he would like to play for a Champions League, has also been in the sights of Arsenal in recent transfer windows.
