Andy Carroll is facing a transfer dilemma at Liverpool.
The Sun says Carroll knows he does not figure in boss Brendan Rodgers' first-choice plans this season and West Ham United and former club Newcastle United are keen to end his Liverpool nightmare.
Both clubs have already been knocked back, after the Reds KO'd any hopes of landing the 6ft 3in England ace on loan, insisting they want up to £20m of the £35m they paid for him recouped.
Yet although the Hammers and Toon are still interested, Rodgers will not let Carroll go if a serious offer arrives too late for him to bring in a serious replacement.
Insiders insist he is willing to fight for his place at Liverpool, even though he would jump at the chance of returning to the North East if a suitable offer arrives.
