Newcastle United are tracking Romania international midfielder Dan Nistor.

The 24 year-old plays for Pandurii Târgu Jiu and Digisport says he was watched by Toon scouts against Rapid Bucharest last week.

Asked about Newcastle's interest, Nistor was refreshingly self-critical: "I don't know, to go abroad I have much to improve."
