Newcastle United are interested in QPR star Adel Taarabt.
Toon winger Wayne Routledge is expected to complete his loan move to the R's today. The Evening Chronicle says despite talk in London that Taarabt will be heading the other direction, a move for the 21-year-old may not happen until the summer.
The midfielder has dazzled for QPR this season.
