Newcastle United are watching PSG striker Mevlut Erding.
The Turkey international is being discussed at Newcastle as a replacement for Liverpool signing Andy Carroll.
Erding has been on the shopping list of Toon chief Derek Llambias since Mike Ashley's buyout of the club.
The 23 year-old is tied to PSG until 2013.
