Newcastle United are watching Angers midfielder Sofiane Boufal.

L'Equipe says Newcastle are one of several clubs to have sent scouts to watch Angers' highly-rated playmaker Boufal in action.

AC Milan, Granada, Marseille and Rennes are also said to be keen on the 21-year-old, who has been impressing in the French second tier.

Boufal has spent his entire career with Angers.
