Newcastle United are reportedly seeking a loan deal for Marco van Ginkel.
According to the Daily Mail, the Magpies are showing considerable interest in the Dutch midfielder and would like to take him off Chelsea's hands for the 2015/16 Premier League season.
22-year old van Ginkel spent last season on loan with AC Milan but was restricted to just 17 league appearances for the Rossoneri after sustaining a serious knee injury in September.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is yet to decide whether he wants van Ginkel next season and if not, the former Vitesse Arnhem ace could find himself at St James' Park.
