Newcastle United are chasing Atletico Madrid midfielder Peter Luccin.
The Daily Star Sunday says Toon boss Sam Allardyce wants to tie up a deal for the Frenchman in the next 48 hours.
Luccin is in the last 12 months of his current Atletico contract.
