Newcastle United are urging Sol Campbell to resist a bumper payday from Qatar.
The Daily Mail says Toon have asked Campbell to stay until the end of the season despite strong interest in him from clubs in the Middle East.
The 36-year-old was upset following Chris Hughton's departure and has been considering his options with Qatar side Al Sadd among his admirers.
However, manager Alan Pardew wants Campbell's experience to help guide his depleted squad through the remainder of the Barclays Premier League campaign.
