Newcastle United News: Four players leave for loan on deadline day

Newcastle United midfielder Henri Saivet has signed for Sivasspor.

The Toon have loaned out Saivet to Sivasspor until the end of the season.

The Senegalese midfielder is hoping for first team football with the Turkish Super Lig side.

The deal is understood to include an option for Sivasspor to buy the midfielder on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

Rafa Benitez was said to be keen on keeping the 27-year-old, but he could not promise him game time.

Meanwhile, Rolando Aarons has joined Serie A side Hellas Verona on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old has linked up with the Italian outfit – who are managed by former Magpies coach Fabio Pecchia – for the remainder of the campaign and could make his debut in their league game against Roma on Sunday.

Spanish midfielder Juanito has joined Deportivo La Coruña on loan until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old former Recreativo de Huelva youngster, who has now recovered from injury, has linked up with the La Liga outfit on a temporary deal until the end of the current campaign.

And defender Jamie Sterry has joined League Two side Crewe Alexandra on loan until the end of the season.

There, he will link up with fellow United youngster Dan Barlaser, who made his debut for the Railwaymen against Wycombe Wanderers last week.
