Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has played down suggestions that Papiss Cisse is seeking a move to Qatar.
An unnamed Qatar Stars League club is reportedly set to make a bid for the Senegalese striker but Pardew insists he has heard nothing of interest from the Middle East.
"Not that I'm aware of, no," he said.
"I can't confirm any bid from any club."
Cisse has recently dropped down the pecking order at St James' Park, starting just six of his 15 league appearances this season, and was reported to be considering a lucrative move to Qatar.
