Newcastle United boss Joe Kinnear is eyeing a bid for Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor.
The Scottish Sun says he is considering a dramatic raid on Rangers as well with £4million-rated keeper No1 Allan McGregor a target as replacement for Manchester City-bound Shay Given.
Given has been given permission to discuss an £8m move with City boss Mark Hughes.
