Newcastle United are set to make a controversial move for West Bromwich Albion winger Callum McManaman, according to the Daily Express.
McManaman is a controversial among the Magpies fanbase because of his horror tackle on Massadio Haidara in 2012.
Newcastle's supposed interest in the player has already caused an outrage among a section of club fans, but manager Rafa Benitez seems determined to go ahead with the £4.7million move for the 25-year-old.
McManaman joined the Baggies from Wigan Athletic in January 2015 but has failed to cement his spot in Tony Pulis' side.
