Newcastle United have slapped a £20 million price-tag on midfielder Cheick Tiote.

The Daily Express says Arsenal are refusing to stump up the £20million needed for Tiote, despite the club's desire to sign the star.

The North London side, will have to be speedy if they want Tiote however, with Manchester United and Chelsea also hankering after the Ivory Coast star.

All three clubs have baulked at the £20m price tag placed on him, but Arsenal hope to tempt Newcastle into selling him for a much lower figure.
