Lille right-back Mathieu Debuchy admits he would like to play in England one day soon.

The 26-year old France international is being linked with a move to the Premier League this summer with Newcastle United believed to have monitored him during the recently-completed season and he says he is open to the possibility of playing in England.

"I would like to go abroad next season," he said at a press conference.

"I like other leagues, but I really like the English style. However I don't know much more, I didn't talk with my club so far.

"I am just preparing Euros so far, and I let my agents manage all that. Anyway if I stay at Lille, I would be happy anyway."
